Shadows Burning

So, we need to figure out exactly what the Us prophecy actually means. It is on the SB's home page, but I'll post it here too:

When a time of great peril

Is upon us

There will be six heroes and heroines

Each from the Us

Each not from the Us

Only when they are joined

Shall my name be revealed

And the Us saved

So....just start brainstorming!

When something bad happens, we will team up, and save the Us.

That's what I think.

what about the "not of the us" part?  we're all from the us, so...

I'm stumped. 

Good point. Maybe....there is something that makes us not quite fully Us, like if a part of the ceremony was somehow skipped.

Or if we have other heritage, but somehow ended up in the Us. Which do you think? Ceremony or this?

That was another idea I had. I think that that one seems more realistic.

Okay. But.... what sort of place should we come from?

I don't know. Maybe someplace kind of near the Us, and we were abandoned as infants for some reason and the Us found us and took us in?

possibly, but wouldn't it be weird if all six of us were the same age, abondoned, then found by the us? It would make more sense if we were just banished, or somehow became not of the Us together at some point in our lives.   

also, what about the person who wrote it?  they could be male, female, or niether.  Human, dragon, or something else. and what is  their name anyway?

I have no idea. We need to figure that out too.

How about we all came from some other place that was destroyed by some evil. And we happened to survive, and came to the Us. But the "time of great peril" can be that the evil that detoyed that other place that we came from is now spreading, and coming to Us.

Sounds good to me.

Okay, now let's decide about the mysterious person.

How about the mysterious person's name is Goordum.

(you know, sometimes I feel as if I'm not part of Shadow's burning, and that most of the time when i post something nobody likes it or nobody goes with my idea and then somebody else has an idea and everyone agrees.)

Goordum is fine with me.  it definitely sounds like the name of something male.  maybe he is part human and part dragon.

(Ok. That's ok,( about the sorry thing)

Part human part dragon is cool. Maybe part someting else, too.

Part something else? Like what? What other animal is important to the Us?

I don't know. Is the person good or bad?
