"I don't know. It seems like a likely possibility, though, doesn't it? I mean, 'often leads to hallucinations'. The nurse said she was hallucinating," Vinotri answered.

Nariko was thinking wildly. "Do you think this person knows or cares that the possession could lead to Calixte going insane?"

"I would probably think that if they're skilled enough to do it, like the book says, then they would know she could go crazy. And, they tried to get her to kill Enya. I don't think they're too concerned about what would happen to her," Vinotri responded sourly.

Enya frowned.  "none of the students at the academy are powerful enough to possess someone.  Is it one of our teachers, then? or someone outside of the academy. and why choose Calixte?  there are older students here, who have learned more about magic and fighting than we have."

(why do some words show up green? It's happening on all the roleplays now. )

(None of the words are green for me, maybe it has to do with something about your computer.)

Vinotri thought about it.  "Maybe Calixte went somewhere or something that made it easier for them to possess her. I don't think there's really anything about her that would make her a better target, so maybe it was just random, that she happened to be the one it happened to."

"Wait, remember at swords practice? How the teacher seemed blind to the fact that Enya was hurt? Seragi had to take Enya to the infermary, but the teacher didn't move at all." Nariko said.

"Yeah, I'd forgotten about that. Although, he's the swords teacher, and it said that only the very skilled in magic used it," Vinotri pointed out. "so I don't think he's actually the one who did it, but maybe he's in league with someone or something?"

"That's probably true. Who do we know that has magic, and isn't afraid to drive someone into insanity?" Nariko said.

(i put my mouse over one of the green words and some pop-up came up about 'game vance')

Enya shrugged.  she couldn't think of anyone who would do that, or who the scowling swordsmaster might actually be friends with.  suddenly, a gruff voice interrupted her thoughts.  "do you kids need anything?" It was the librarian, one side of his mouth twisted upward in a distorted grin.  Enya didn't dare continue the conversation in front of him.  she silently shook her head.

(can the librarian be a good guy? he's cool.)

Nariko turned to face Ribbon, hiding the book from the Librarian's veiw. What would someone do if they found them with this book?

(that's really weird, about the green words. I don't care about the librarian)

"Oh, uh, well, you see," Vinotri (not Ribbon, Darkness) stammered, frantically scanning her mind for an excuse. "We were just looking for some information about... um...exotic clothing. We're doing a research project."

(Sorry. I'll get it right next time.)

Nariko nodded in agreement. "Vinotri said she knew a great book on it." Nariko said. (I got it right!)

(Yeah, but you had just been thinking about it. The real test is next time, although you will have just read this so you'll be thinking about it again.)

"I thought I saw it over here," Vinotri said, moving to a shelf near Nariko, grabbing the book from her in the process. Bending over to hide it, she quickly shoved it back on the shelf.

(Ya, well, at least I won't mix your name up.)

Nariko turned back to the librarian and said. "I think we should be off to our next class."

"Alright, then. If you need anything, don't be afraid to ask," the librarian answered. He suspected they weren't really after exotic clothing, but also knew they probably wouldn't tell him what they were actually looking for.

"thank you" Enya said, leading the way out of the library.

As soon as they left the library, Nariko stopped. "That was to close. He almost found out. Anyway, who's on our suspect list?"

Zoe had been quiet the whole time. Now she spoke up.

"I dunno. Who's skilled with magic? It could be the magic teachers, or the headmaster, or.... I dunno. It doesn't have to be someone in the school campus, though I suspect it would be much harder to possess someone from outside, given all the magical protections spells that are put up around the school." Zoe fell into silence again and stared off into space, thinking.

Nariko snapped her fingers in frount of Zoe's face. "Don't drift off. I don't think that we shouldtrust anyone until we are sure of who it is." Nariko said.
