Shadows Burning

Zoe had been assigned to defend, and she was glad. It was easier for her, and there was more time to think about other things. She glanced around at her friends. She nearly took a blow on her knee when she saw what Calixte had done. She had bashed her opponent mercilessly, probably breaking a few bones, and now she was giggling?!?! Her eyes widened in disbelief and disgust.

Vinotri's mouth dropped open. How could someone be so cruel? Not only to attack someone like that, and injure them, but to laugh at them, happy that she had wounded them, not caring that the girl was badly hurting! She felt like bashing Calixte herself, just like that, to give her a taste of what it felt like, but she knew better, and knew that Calixte would be severly punished anyway by the teacher.

Zoe did not try to interfere, hoping that the teacher would see Calixte thoroughly punished. But a few more minutes passed, and there was no break in the instructor's patrolling. It seemed impossible that he hadn't seen, yet she would most definitly have been on the ground apologizing for her life if he had. That left only one option: the teacher had a favorite. When the swordfighting instructor had a favorite, they stayed his favorite, no matter how atrociously they acted.

Vinotri joined Seragi in helping the girl to the infirmary, glaring fiercely at Calixte as she passed, wanting to do something to punish her, but not get in trouble. Secretly she hatched a plan to put the stinkiest plant she knew in Calixte's things.

Zoe continued to block her partner's blows, but her eyes were still on Calixte. Her mind may have been playing tricks on her, but Zoe though she could see the girl swaying where she stood. She was certainly not giggling any more, and her eyes kept glazing over as she stare off into space, as if she wasn't really aware of her surroundings. Zoe decided to keep an eye on Calixte. Despite what she had just done, she didn't want the girl to be sick. It would ruin the fun of the whole class.

Vinotri was noticing the same things Zoe was as she returned to the class, thinking that maybe she hadn't realized exactly what she'd done, and deciding not to stink up her things after all. She attacked her opponent even more carefully than before, not wanting to make the same mistake.

Description of personality: She is a sneaky person, who likes to be risky at times, she is nice and good to friends and people she trusts. She also is very active and likes to play sports.

Description of appearance: She has light wavy brown hair with a purple streak going through the front. She has a medium-size phyisue and is tall. She is wearing a regular t-shirt that iis a magenta with blue polka-dots, and she is also wearing denim shorts and converse.

Fault(s): She is bad a fighting with a bow and arrow, and she is not the best spear fighter or horse rider either.

(Her new fault is that when she was a baby, her mother died of highly posion spider bites and they almost took her! So, since then, she has been horrified of spiders.)

(She is wearing her uniform which is indigo and dark purple and the skirt is medium lenth. She has magenta boots that are medium lenth and gloves that are the same color and are medium lenth. She also has my skin color.

Suddenly, Calixtes face went white her expression changed to a look of disgust, anger, and hatred, "no", she said under her breath"I'm not sorry!"Then everything went black!

      When Calixte awoke, she was surounded by her friends. Leaning over the end of the bed was what apeared to Calixte to be a villan, but really was the nurse! "You're the little villan that tried to hurt us.Wheres my sword? I want to stab you again." Calixte pointed at the nurse!!!!!!!!!!!

Nariko did not know what to do. Normally, her arogance would take over and she would scold Calixte. But this was far worse than anything ever done. Nariko had seen the incident unfold, but why would Calixte do it? And why would she even want to do it agian?

The gloves aren't elbow lenth, but not the shortest. And the boot are not knee lenth but not the shortest as well.

"Stop! She's not a nurse, she your friend." said Seragi. Then slowly, she grabbed the sword out of Calixte's hand and set it down on the ground.

on the bed beside Calixte's, Enya lay, barely conscious.  her chest was covered in bandages.  the wound beneath was gruesome.  she clenched her teeth as fiery pain shot through it.  the nurse, an old daughter of Lisarro, was at her side, tending to her.  Enya drank from the flask the woman offered her.  Instantly, the pain numbed. and she felt drowsy.  she slept. 

when Enya woke, the bandages were gone. only a wide bruise showed where the practice sword had hit her. but the pain still lingered. "you may go." the nurse said. "but take it easy. you are not yet fully healed." how long had she slept? An hour? a day? a week? Enya didn't know. She looked out the window. the sun had begun to sink below the horizon. it was time for power lessons. Enya scampered of, cringing at the pain in her chest.

Nariko was headed off to class with the others when she saw Enya cringing down the hill. "Look!" She said. "It's Enya!"

Zoe wondered what was wrong with Calixte. She had never acted this way before. Zoe decided, right there and then, standing over Calixte's hospital bed, that she would do whatever it would take to cure Calixte of this strange disease.

(Shadows, Raindrop said everyone had left the hospital. Are you like, just visiting now?)

(Well, I haven't been online in a while, so I really don't have a good idea of what's going on. I guess I just hung back a little longer than everyone else.)

Satisfied with her decision, Zoe headed outside to join her friends.
