Shadows Burning

Ribbon was feeling the same.

Then, Lily walked up towards the circle next

Shadows Burning stood happily beside her new dragon, excited for her friend Lily.

(You can roleplay anytime you're on the site, everybody, or anybody, doesn't have to be online.)

Shadows Burning looked around at all the dragons, wondering which one would become her friend's.

"Wow. aren't they beautiful?" whispered Lily, "they're so majestic and strong."

Only now did Shadows Burning realize that she had been holding her breath the whole time. She slowly and silently let it out, watching Lilies's every move.

raindrop shivered with anticipation, her eyes bright.  she imagined herself standing there, surrounded by dragons, wondering which one would be hers

Suddenly, Shadow's stomach lurched. She stumbled dizzily, her thoughts becoming haze, her vision blurring. Suddenly, an image appeared in front of her eyes. It was the Us's village, burning. She gasped, horrified. A great voice boomed in her ears: "Beware, Shadow. For when the Dancing, the Swaying, the Flowing, the Shimmering, and the Burning unite, they WILL BURN."

Shadow had now fallen to her knees, struggling to rise. But as the voices last ominous words were spoken, she gave up. Her vision was slowly returning, and she saw all her friends staring at her, eyes wide, right before her eyes rolled up in her head and she collapsed on the ground.

Raindrop's eyes were wide with concern.  She knelt over her friend.  "Shadow?" she wispered.  "Shadows Burning, are you alright?  wake up!  What happened?"  Something strange was going on.  She could sense it.  She felt something powerful and mysterious and maybe even magical.  And she did not like it. 

Shadow was still unconscious, but she was having a hazy dream in which her friends were bending over her with strange looks on their faces.

Star skipped over to Raindrop. "What up?" she giggled quietly. But  when she caught sight of Shadows Burning lying motionless on the ground, her smile faded. "Wha, what?" she whisper-stammered as she bent over her unconcious freind. What had happened and why in the middle  of  Lily's  ceremony?

Quickly Ribbon joined Raindrop kneeling at their friend's side. "What do you suppose happened? Whatever it is, it can't be good," she nervously asked.

"Well I did see her staring at something, she must have seen something, or had a vision... or even weirder, a prophesy!" Suggested star!

Shadow was still lying unconscious on the ground.
